Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Entertainment Content Officer to lead our communications efforts for Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios in Brazil.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executing effective consumer content publicity and corporate communications campaigns for large organizations, with significant experience in the entertainment industry.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining crisis management protocols and reputation management strategies, as well as leading proactive brand communications initiatives to strengthen Prime Video's position in the Brazilian market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute comprehensive communications strategies for Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios in Brazil
  • Serve as strategic advisor to senior business leaders, providing counsel on communications and business decisions
  • Drive the strategic narrative for corporate initiatives, content releases, and product, technology, and innovation narratives
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of communications experience, with significant experience in the entertainment industry
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Experience leading communications campaigns in Brazil
  • Network of media and industry contacts
  • Written and verbal communication skills in both English and Portuguese
  • Crisis management experience
  • People management experience
