Job Opportunity

As a seasoned government relations professional, you will lead our efforts to build and maintain strong connections with key government stakeholders in Brazil. You will define and implement a clear strategy for our expanding product and services portfolio, including mobility, delivery, and payments.

You will serve as a vital member of the leadership team in Brazil, providing guidance on critical issues and helping shape the direction of the organization. You will establish and nurture crucial relationships with government officials, industry groups, and associations, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination.

As a key representative of the company, you may be called upon to speak at important events or engage with media on significant matters. You will work closely with our international government affairs and external relations teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of global initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team of government relations specialists to execute strategic plans for our mobility, delivery, and payments businesses.
  • Serve as an advisor to local and global leaders, guiding the organization's direction and product/service strategy.
  • Establish and maintain critical relationships with government officials, industry groups, and associations.
  • Provide strategic guidance on budgeting and agency support structure.
  • Represent the organization as a key public face, potentially speaking at events or engaging with media on significant matters.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in government relations, preferably with roles in government/political contexts and corporate/consultancy environments.
  • Experience working with a global organization is ideal, particularly with companies operating in U.S. or Chinese markets.
  • Native proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese language skills and excellent written and spoken English.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
