We are seeking a talented professional to support our growing Public Policy team in Brazil. The successful candidate will build and grow relationships with strategic policymakers, working collaboratively with internal teams to guide product development and policy strategy.

About the Role

The Public Policy Manager will represent our organization to elected officials, government agencies, and civil society entities engaged in policy-making issues. They will bring subject matter expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the team, taking ownership of relevant regulatory analysis and external engagements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with strategic policymakers;
  • Develop and implement policy strategies in collaboration with internal teams;
  • Proactively identify emerging policy issues, alerting relevant internal teams and addressing such issues to fashion the best solutions;
  • Represent our organization at industry gatherings, trade associations, and coalition meetings;
  • Assist the Head of Brazil Public Policy to build business and engagement strategy, advising on emerging public policy matters;
  • Monitor political and social events in Brazil, working with cross-functional teams to leverage opportunities or mitigate risks;
  • Collaborate with Trust & Safety, Communications, Legal, and Product teams on key public policy projects;
  • Maintain and develop a strong network of third-party public interest groups, industry associations, and academics engaged in technology policy issues;
