Chief Product Engineer

Leading a team of professional engineers, we support technical programs for process and equipment development, as well as critical lifecycle initiatives. We are responsible for the platform lifecycle management process and governance, prioritizing efforts and coordinating resource management.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the product management organization in support of the new product pipeline and lifecycle programs.
- Own cross-functional governance and process for lifecycle management supporting the portfolio.
- Drive key programs enabling the technical career ladder, including six sigma certifications, design excellence, operations support, and GROW experiences.
- Recruit, develop, manage, and empower highly trained technical professionals to ensure a diverse and highly capable team.
- Champion collaboration with internal and external partners to enable execution supporting technical product and process characterization and development.
- Support resource utilization aligned to business prioritization and employee development plans, ensuring associates are appropriately trained and equipped.
- Communicate to senior leadership including portfolio reviews, project performance, business risks, and mitigations.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical field, or general business required; advanced technical or business degree preferred.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 8 years or more of relevant work experience in the healthcare, MedTech, or Pharma industry.
- Ability to develop people, embrace technology, and utilize customer-focused decision making.
- Strong change management skills with the ability to drive alignment in a global environment through strong communication and employee empowerment.
- Proven knowledge of process development and validation, including design of experiments, statistical analysis, and project management.
- Experiences in manufacturing operations with clear understanding of global quality and compliance regulations and expectations.
- Deep knowledge of continuous improvement tools, lean manufacturing, and six-sigma.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to work effectively with project teams and senior leaders.
