Teaching Assistant Role in Early Years and Elementary Education

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in Curitiba, Brazil.

The successful candidate will provide support to Head Teachers in teaching classes, preparing content, and managing students in school environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide instructional support to Head Teachers, collaborating on student guidance and activities to enhance learning;
  • Assist with the distribution and collection of educational materials etc.;
  • Participate in implementing didactic-pedagogical projects by the school;
  • Maintain organized classrooms with required materials as requested by Head Teachers;
  • Be responsible for decorating walls, doors, tables, and bulletin boards around the school;
  • Adapt activities for students with special educational needs;
  • Ensure safety by closely supervising students during activities, observing, guiding, and intervening when necessary to prevent accidents;
  • Receive students at the entrance and exit of the school, ensuring adherence to safety standards and delivering students only to authorized personnel;
  • Accompany students during meal times, guaranteeing everyone eats well;
  • Manage the class in times of absence or temporary unavailability of the Head Teacher;
  • Record student activities through videos and photos and send them to the Head Teacher within established deadlines without disrupting classroom dynamics;
  • Participate in Academic Meetings, educational conferences, and development workshops to maintain and improve professional competence;
  • Attend school events open to families;

The ideal candidate should have experience working in Early Childhood Education, be proficient in English, and possess skills in Digital Thinking, Caring Profile, Interpersonal Relationships, Conflict Management, and Creativity.
