Job Overview:
- This comprehensive learnership is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively promote and sell cosmetics & beauty products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure stock on shelves has not reached sell by dates, participate in department stock takes, keep storeroom organized, report low stock levels, damaged or expired stock to management.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, merchandising, and displays in both window area and throughout the store, present displays in an attractive manner, demonstrate products through makeovers or cosmetic demonstrations, correctly price and label all relevant goods.
- Provide friendly, helpful, and courteous assistance and advice to customers, process payments at a cosmetics department point of sales (POS), give advice but do not force customers to change their preferable brand.
Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification, willingness and ability to work retail hours, computer literate in Microsoft Office package.
- Previous working experience within the beauty environment is an advantage.
