Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

The Site Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe execution of activities at the site. The individual should be dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Effective communication and collaboration with managers, along with proactive problem-solving, are essential for success in this role.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that all assigned activities are executed efficiently, meeting project goals.
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protection, quality management systems, and occupational health and safety policies.
  • Identify and record non-conformities, and implement relevant corrective actions.
  • Oversee daily operations implementation, managing and monitoring construction projects from start to finish.
  • Assist the direct Manager/Site Manager in identifying scope of work changes in a timely manner.
  • Advise on additional safety measures necessary to improve work methods.
  • Support the organization's environmental and safety program, conforming to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
  • Communicate field work problems with Site Operation Managers and Customer Site Manager.
  • Report accidents and near-misses to the Site Manager and Rina OHSE team through proper channels.
  • Coordinate job schedules with the direct Site Operations Manager.
  • Address performance issues and work collaboratively to address challenges.
  • Collaborate with department managers regarding equipment problems.
  • Provide input and insights to facilitate effective decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in construction, with a proven track record of progressively responsible roles.
  • Previous experience in supervisory or leadership positions on construction sites.
  • Certification in safety management or relevant safety training programs.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and standards.
