Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure overall compliance with local regulations and authorities, including operating permits.
  • Provide expert guidance on Environmental, Health and Safety matters to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to eliminate exposure to identified and potential risks, preventing injuries.
  • Collaborate with corporate and regional EHS personnel to leverage global best practices.
  • Manage waste management systems, metrics, and related responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of Brazilian regulations and technical standards.

A successful EHS Site Manager will build trust and confidence with the Operations Team, inspiring change through comprehensive risk assessments and data analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental, Ergonomics, or a related field.
  • Fluent English and Portuguese language proficiency.
  • Experience in People Management and designing/implementing Workplace, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, pivot tables, and chart/graph development.
