Job Description:

The Safety and Compliance Specialist will partner with site operations teams to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance with local and regional regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Measure site performance against published requirements in safety protocols.
  • Deliver high-quality projects on time to Operations.
  • Analyze safety metrics and review incident reports.
  • Perform regular site safety audits to identify non-compliant equipment and processes.
  • Audit record-keeping practices and Global Safety Database entries.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of incidents.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment. This involves identifying potential hazards, implementing controls, and monitoring compliance. You will work closely with site operations teams to develop and implement safety procedures that meet regulatory requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail.
