Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong planning and execution skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Preparation: Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route products.
  • Shipping Data Recording: Record shipping data, including weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes.
  • Problem Resolution: Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems such as damage and non-conformance to specifications.
  • Safe Lifting: Occasionally perform safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least six months of warehouse experience is required.
  • Skills: Strong planning and execution skills, ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Qualifications: Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures, strong team orientation and collaboration to work effectively in a team environment.
