About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated Data Lead to drive data strategy and execution for our portfolio of data products.

This role involves owning challenging analytical work and guiding a team of data analysts to build and deliver top-tier data products.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute data strategies for high-impact data products, ensuring accuracy, client value, and efficiency.
  • Operate as a player-coach, setting quality, speed, and innovation standards while coaching and empowering your team.
  • Analyze massive amounts of data to answer investor questions about sectors and datasets, using proprietary methods and techniques to ensure accuracy and derive key insights.
  • Tackle complex data problems, optimizing methodologies, testing new datasets, and solving data-related problems with innovative solutions.
  • Standardize, simplify, and improve data pipelines and workflows to minimize risk and maximize efficiency and value.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Research and Engineering teams to uncover opportunities to drive customer value and optimize processes and pipelines.
You Are Likely To Succeed If
  • You have 5+ years of experience in data analytics, forecasting, or business intelligence, including 1-2 years in a management or lead capacity.
  • You have 3+ years of experience working with SQL, Python, Pyspark, or other programming languages to explore and transform large, complex datasets.
  • Proficiency with Github and familiarity with Databricks.
  • You have strong communication skills and can work effectively with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
  • You excel at approaching complex problems logically and decisively, and take pride in implementing scalable solutions.
  • You have a strong ownership mentality and are enthusiastic about working with others to make a big impact.
  • Preferred: Experience in capital markets, investment research, or financial services.
