Job Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst role involves overseeing financial transactions, generating reports, and analyzing data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Establish vendor accounts in the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Process and record all vendor invoices in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all invoices received.
  • Verify invoice accuracy by matching invoices with Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Request approval for invoices from relevant stakeholders.
  • Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and communications.
  • Ensure invoices comply with local laws and regulations.
  • Review vendor payment terms according to standard payment guidelines.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for payments.
  • Send withholdings tax receipts to vendors as required.
  • Accrue expenses at month-end.
  • Assign appropriate codes according to the chart of accounts for all invoices.
  • Compile and submit reports for reconciliation and ledger account analysis.
  • Provide information to support monthly and weekly cash flow projections.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Analyze actual variances and explanations across various areas of the Profit and Loss Statement (P&L) and Balance Sheet.
  • Respond promptly to questions from business partners and provide ad-hoc analysis upon request.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Account Payable Senior in a multinational organization.
  • Familiarity with statutory rules and external audit procedures in Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and other countries.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and equivalent regulations.
  • Desirable: ERP experience with Netsuite and Oracle.
  • Results-driven and business intelligence-oriented, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on, decisive, and fast worker.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Able to respond quickly to various requests.
  • Proficient in English language, written and spoken.
