Job Description

Boeing Brazil is in search of a Senior International Trip Planner, who will report to the International Trip Planning Manager and operate from the São Paulo office. The Senior International Trip Planner is responsible for comprehensive international trip planning, flight coordination, customs procedures, flight monitoring, and client communication across various sectors including business, government, and commercial aviation in a 24/7 operational environment. This role involves coordinating interactions with both ground and airborne aviation clients throughout all stages of planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:


• Directs and executes intricate trip and flight planning for diverse aviation sectors.

• Develops alternative plans and backup itineraries for client review and selection.

• Ensures all plans comply with relevant FAA and international regulations.

• Gathers, distributes, and interprets a variety of publications (such as navigation charts and flight manuals) necessary for safe operations and regulatory compliance.

• Identifies new requirements and secures essential publications, maintaining operational trip folders that include itineraries, diplomatic clearances, ground handling, fuel, accommodations, and other necessary services through the Trip Planning System.

• Aids clients in crafting itineraries, leveraging knowledge of diplomatic protocols, airport limitations, fuel availability, aircraft range, and geopolitical contexts.

• Conducts research and updates databases regarding service agencies, fuel suppliers, and diplomatic clearance entities as needed.

• Maintains ongoing communication with key stakeholders of assigned strategic accounts, documenting and sharing client preferences.

• Provides information regarding trip planning services to both new and existing clients as required.

• Drafts and tests flight plans for clients, coordinating with operations for transmission.

Work Arrangement:
This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring the selected candidate to perform some duties onsite at designated locations as determined by the hiring team.

Basic Qualifications:


• Must possess existing rights to work in Brazil.

• A degree in an accredited field of study is required.

• Proficiency in both verbal and written English communication skills is essential.

• Ability to work in rotating shift patterns is necessary.

• Strong customer service skills are expected.

Preferred Qualifications:


• Extensive experience in international flight planning is preferred.

• Experience with dispatch or possession of a pilot license, including instrument rating or other aviation certifications, is advantageous.

This position is for local hiring in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and compensation are determined locally and are not part of Boeing's U.S.-based payroll.
