• The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, part qualification in CA (SL) / CIMA (UK)/ ACCA (UK), and 2-3 years of relevant experience in one sub-function in finance.

Job Description: The Finance Expert will be responsible for maintaining and updating the fixed asset register, managing assets under construction, performing monthly depreciation runs, and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to close open projects and improve asset processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
2. Manage Assets Under Construction (AUC), including aging analysis and timely capitalization.
3. Perform monthly depreciation runs and ensure accurate posting in financial systems.
4. Perform fixed asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, write-offs, and splits, ensuring accurate recording and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
5. Manage and maintain Asset Master Data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with financial policies.
6. Create and maintain Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) and ensure accurate and timely updates in Kestrel to support effective project tracking, budgeting, and reporting.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to close open projects and improve asset processes.
8. Compliance of GL entries and transactions with Group and local norms, function allocation rules and standard processes.
9. Accounts reconciliation and justification before reviewers, internal and external auditors and internal controllers.
10. Closing transactions, program and reporting operated in compliance with closing deadlines and quality level expected.
11. Record journal entries to accurately reflect appropriate accrual basis accounting transactions for assigned functions in the correct period including accruals of expenses, accruals of revenue, amortization of prepaid expenses, etc.
12. Ensure 100% completion of the balance sheet reconciliation, classifications, and Conduct Balance sheet reviews with Clients to drive and clear long outstanding balance.
13. Responsible in making sure Timely submission of global reports to facilitate group consolidation and management & coordination of Internal and External Audit with Globally nominated Audit partners.
14. Ensure accurate financial information needed to complete a timely financial close in accordance with Micheline Statutory and Management reporting requirement.
15. Responsible in supporting R2R Leadership for the maintenance and the transactional consistency of the Global Operational Chart of account and Local Chart of accounts for the different group legal entities.
16. Establish and maintain relationships and networks with all departments and appropriate outside contacts that interact with the department.
