Database Engineering Expert

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing Database-as-a-Service solutions for MS SQL using .NET, PowerShell, Python, and other automation tools to meet business objectives.
  • Leveraging cutting-edge AWS Cloud technologies to build and innovate database infrastructure that scales with business needs.
  • Performing in-depth performance analysis and tuning for MS SQL environments to optimize system efficiency.
  • Automating and streamlining database management processes to reduce manual efforts and improve accuracy.
  • Conducting POC analysis and documenting complex, business-critical database workflows to ensure seamless operations.
  • Leading incident analysis and providing corrective action recommendations to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
  • Developing and implementing database alerting and monitoring solutions to proactively identify potential issues.
  • Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure as part of our database product offerings to ensure smooth operation.
  • Owning the full DevOps lifecycle: design, code, test, deploy, and monitor to deliver high-quality products.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing database solutions using MS SQL, .NET, PowerShell, and Python to meet business requirements.
  • Leveraging AWS Cloud technologies to innovate and improve database infrastructure that supports business growth.
  • Performing regular performance analysis and tuning for MS SQL environments to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Automating and streamlining database management processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Documenting complex database workflows and providing corrective action recommendations to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Developing and implementing database alerting and monitoring solutions to enhance system reliability.
  • Maintaining cloud infrastructure and ensuring smooth operation of database products to meet customer needs.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Deep experience in database engineering and automation.
  • Strong experience with AWS and services like CFN, SSM, and container technologies.
  • Deep expertise in MS SQL administration, including HA, backup/restore, security, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Windows environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level production databases.
  • Familiarity with DevOps frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
