  • We are seeking an experienced Hardware Certifications Engineer to join our team.
About the Role

This is a challenging role that requires expertise in FCC, CE, IFT, UL Markings, IEC, and other regulatory compliance standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure certification guidelines are followed throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Evaluate hardware components and systems to ensure they meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, protocols, and reports to document certification efforts and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineering, firmware engineering, and software engineering teams to ensure alignment of design and development activities with certification goals.
  • Identify and interpret applicable certification requirements and develop strategies to achieve and maintain compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware certification.
  • Expertise in safety and functioning electronics standards and certifications such as IEC 61010 and IEC 61557-12.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 procedures and requirements.
  • Experience with EMC, IME and other RF compliance tests.
