Job Title: Specialist Processing Optimisation and Growth

Metso Outotec is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Processing Optimisation and Growth to join our team. As a key member of our Optimised Mill Lining product group, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of value-adding solutions to our customers.

About the Role:

As an internal comminution process consultant, you will supply metallurgical process expertise and advice to our mill lining Business Area and Market Area teams. You will be responsible for key strategic drivers of Optimized Mill Lining product and value management, determination, development, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acts as an internal comminution process consultant, supplying metallurgical process expertise and advice to mill lining Business Area and Market Area teams
  • Key strategic driver of Optimized Mill Lining product and value management, determination, development, and deployment
  • Interlink between Business Area, Expert Services, and other product groups to develop collaborative opportunities
  • Value determination modelling tool development and deployment
  • Process modelling and simulation interpretation, analysis, and communication
  • Remote commissioning support for mill lining design implementation and operation
  • Generating literature and presenting at industry events
  • Idea generation and support for digital tools and systems within mill lining Business Area to support comminution/processing aspects of sales cases and analysis
  • Development of continuous and proactive optimization elements into contractual supply agreements, including performance-based concepts
  • Key member for Market Area and site-specific proactive sales strategies and win plans
  • Ensures fulfillment of all QEHS rules and regulations of Metso Outotec and Customers
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a Master's level tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical, or Process Engineering disciplines. You should have at least 10 years of experience in the operation of minerals processing concentrators, including comminution circuits.

You should possess a visionary, continuous improvement mindset, actively challenging the status quo with a focus on long-term goals. You should also have strong commercial acumen with a customer-oriented outlook, high-level communication and customer service skills, and a strong focus on safety built on transparent and open communication.
