Job Description Overview

Boeing is seeking a skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team in São José dos Campos, Brazil. As a key member of the BR&T Structures team, you will be responsible for developing and providing support for the primary and secondary structures of the X-66 airplane.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and integrate structural modifications on system and sub-system levels, ensuring safety, quality, and performance of the product.
  2. Guide product design and verify structural integrity of parts and components using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools.
  3. Participate in customer and stakeholder communication to drive solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  4. Define affected structural requirements and create certification reports to substantiate stress analysis results.
Requirements
  1. Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
  2. Must have a degree in Engineering.
  3. Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in English.
  4. Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
  5. Experience with Structures Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience in structural analysis methods and tools (Hand-Calculation and Finite Element Analysis Method).
  2. Experience with design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials.
  3. Direct experience working with compliance demonstration for regulatory requirements (ANAC/FAA).
  4. Occasional travel may be required in support of the program and customer, both domestically and internationally.
  5. Experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues in an engineering environment.
  6. Experience with mechanical systems (flight controls or mech-hyd).
