Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver solutions using tools such as Z console, Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS), Jira, and ServiceNow to meet customer expectations.
  • Participate in structured training and certification opportunities on supported solutions.
  • Work with experienced operators to monitor and control mainframe hardware and software, ensuring system health and normal operation.
  • Analyze first-level problems for all systems, resolving and routing as appropriate.
  • Engage in team standups, cross-functional interactions, and IBM Slack channels.

**Essential Technical and Professional Expertise**

  • Programming languages: JCL, REXX, Python/YAML, SQL, and others.
  • Understanding of basic software architectures or infrastructure such as X86.
  • Knowledge of network technologies.
  • zOS concepts and system programming ideal but not required.
