We are seeking a skilled Event Trader to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in odds compiling and trading, with a passion for soccer and a keen eye for detail. They will be responsible for monitoring and managing liabilities, compiling odds, creating betting markets, and analyzing customer activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade betting events for soccer, ensuring risk is mitigated.
  • Compile odds and own pre-event pricing on assigned football leagues.
  • Create and monitor betting markets and assist in controlling risk to achieve optimum pre-event margin.
  • Ad hoc creating and managing additional markets according to sophisticated customer demand.
  • Monitor and analyze customer activity, reporting to the Sportsbook Integrity team.
  • Deliver outstanding service to internal and external customers and ensure departmental KPIs are met.
  • Assist in improving and developing trading tools.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an odds compiling or trading role.
  • Sports enthusiast with a data-focused mindset and drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge and genuine interest in different soccer leagues around the world.
  • Quantitative and analytical skills with demonstrated knowledge of core statistics within sports.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office programs (particularly MS Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and ability to make quick and informed decisions.
  • Self-organized, target-driven, and a team-player.
