Pre-Event Trader Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pre-Event Trader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in odds compiling or trading roles, with a strong data-driven mindset and sports enthusiast knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trading Soccer events, monitoring and managing liabilities to mitigate risk;
  • Compiling odds and creating pre-event pricing for assigned football leagues;
  • Creating and monitoring betting markets to achieve optimal pre-event margins;
  • Ad-hoc creation and management of additional markets based on customer demand;
  • Analyzing customer activity and reporting to the Sportsbook Integrity team;
  • Delivering excellent service to internal and external customers and meeting departmental KPIs;
  • Collaborating with various departments to improve and develop trading tools.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Odds compiling or Trading roles;
  • A strong data-driven mindset, sports enthusiast knowledge, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good understanding and genuine interest in different Soccer leagues worldwide;
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including knowledge of core sports statistics;
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, especially MS Excel;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Attention to detail and ability to make quick, informed decisions;
  • Self-motivation, target-driven, and a collaborative team player.
