Key Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to lead our Brazilian accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hiring and onboarding new employees, conducting performance reviews, coaching, development, and engagement.
  • The successful candidate will ensure timely and accurate daily accounting, including vendor bills, invoicing, payments, and cash management. They will also be hands-on, stepping in with entries, reconciliations, and close tasks as needed.
  • This role requires the ability to complete month-end close activities on schedule and in line with global standards. This includes the final review of balance sheet accounts such as bank, payroll, fixed assets, accrual accounting, deferred costs, taxes, AP, and AR etc.
  • The ideal candidate will assist senior accountants with accounting record reviews, manage reconciliations, and clear open items. They will also support the team in preparing financial statements, tax declarations, and monthly financial reports.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting with an active CRC is required. A Master's degree is desired and an MBA is a plus.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent experience with accounting in a multinational environment, including proven team management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, international setting are essential.
  • Proficiency in ERP finance applications and advanced Excel skills are required.
