Job Description:

We are seeking an Analyst to join our Latin America Debt Capital Markets team. As a key member of the group, you will play a critical role in supporting bankers across the globe.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in fixed income markets and excellent analytical skills. You should be able to analyze and interpret financial statements, perform full valuation analyses, and create financial and operating benchmarking analyses.

In addition, you will source and interpret company and industry information from various data sources to form views on the industry, key trends, and individual companies.

You will also provide weekly updates to senior management on deals announced/closed/priced, new mandates, client calling efforts by bankers, sector updates, and monitor relevant metrics across the region.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or related field
  • Excellent academic record
  • Proficient in English
  • Awareness of investment banking solutions and services
  • Solid analytical skills with ability to analyze and interpret data quickly and accurately
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting as well as valuation metrics
  • Solid financial modeling/valuation skills
  • Close attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality output
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with senior bankers
