Senior Financial Aid Manager

This is a key position that oversees the financial aid process for graduate programs. As a Senior Financial Aid Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the financial aid process, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and providing excellent customer service to students and staff.
You will work closely with the offices of Financial Aid, Bursar, Registrar, Admissions, and Development to select and distribute scholarships and other financial aid. You will also develop/enhance annual/quarterly federal Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) reports, working with the University Office of the Registrar, Professional Schools/Colleges, and academic program Directors/Chairs/Deans or Associate Deans as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and financial aid, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Analyze FAFSA (federal) data for graduate students to determine federal aid eligibility under federal methodology.
- Manage the financial aid process for graduate programs, keep pace with program growth and student progression between full-time and part-time status.
- Develop/enhance annual/quarterly federal Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) reports.
- Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in accounting and financial aid or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
