Capital Projects Leader

We seek a seasoned professional to lead our capital projects, driving business growth through strategic planning and execution. The successful candidate will possess a strong track record of managing complex projects from conception to completion, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within budget and timeframe.

  • Foster a collaborative environment, engaging cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies, leveraging industry best practices to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead technical design approval processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and overseeing project execution.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on capital projects exceeding $500kUSD.
  • Proficiency in developing P&IDs, electrical, mechanical, and control schematics & CAD drawings.
  • Expertise in using MMS & SAP Applications, as well as solid knowledge of food manufacturing industry GMP requirements specifically hygiene, food safety, quality, controls, material behavior, and industrial safety standards.
  • Able to identify and classify food safety risks, develop risk assessments, and set relevant food safety measures and controls.
Impact/Influence
  • Direct relationship with the Plant General Manager and Area Managers to support business strategy/plans and share new projects and their activities schedule with the rest of the operation.
  • Network: Engineering Director, Technical SMEs, Global Procurement Managers, DWT participation, and other Plant Engineering teams across the globe to share knowledge and critical experiences.
  • Suppliers: negotiation for executing projects, contract negotiation, and execution supervision.
