- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- University and/or postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Relevant experience in software development.
- Experience in launching one or more applications, currently available on Google Play will be considered as an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
- Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Constantly learn, improve on your skills, share knowledge and adapt to processes and conventions.
- 4+ years of Android software development.
- 1+ years of Kotlin software development will be considered as a huge advantage.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Programming experience interfacing with server APIs via JSON.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
- Familiarity with functional programming principles.
- Familiarity in algorithms and complexity.
