About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team. As a key member of the Payments team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend services that process and reconcile transaction data at high volumes.

Your responsibilities
  • Guide technical decisions and mentor junior developers.
  • Design, implement, and maintain high-performance backend systems that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical initiatives.
  • Optimize database performance, improve test coverage, and ensure observability, resilience, and reliability across systems.

About you

  • Have strong software engineering expertise, including code design, quality attributes, automated testing, CI/CD, performance optimization, and distributed systems.
  • Are proficient in languages such as Golang or Python.
  • Have experience with relational databases (especially PostgreSQL) and are comfortable with schema modeling, query optimization, and database tuning.
  • Worked with messaging queues (SQS, RabbitMQ) and stream processing platforms (Kafka).
  • Are comfortable working with MongoDB and Redis.
  • Can produce clear, structured technical documentation.
