Job Overview

We seek an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record in leading Transit ITS projects from design through implementation. This individual will oversee project teams, manage resources, adhere to schedules and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of a project, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Provide comprehensive project communication to stakeholders and meet project requirements and expectations.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers and maintain open communication about project progress.
  • Oversee project activities, including issue tracking, risk mitigation, team meetings, and status reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments for successful project execution.
  • Maintain relationships with customer stakeholders and communicate effectively.
  • Assemble project teams to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Direct and control work performed within project frameworks, including monitoring critical paths and implementing corrective actions.
  • Review project deliverables, software, and hardware, and report on project performance.
  • Coordinate technical reviews of system design and documentation with the customer.
  • Establish project plans, schedules, milestones, and adherence to program master plans.
  • Manage financial schedule performance of assigned projects.
  • Communicate scheduling changes as necessary.
  • Ensure full lifecycle completion of projects and every aspect is completed.
  • Procure equipment and materials necessary for project execution.
  • Develop subcontractors' scopes of work, execute subcontracts, and manage subcontractors.
  • Coordinate proposal preparation, estimation of product and service costs, and negotiation/administration of contracts.
