Role Purpose
The role involves leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the IT landscape within the Logistics and Track & Trace sectors, along with insights into the business environment, to deliver tangible business value. This is achieved by designing solutions for emerging business challenges and implementing effective strategies.
In an agile squad framework, the Solution Consultant will either lead or collaborate with a team to deliver IT solutions from inception to completion.
As an integrator and problem solver, the Solution Consultant is recognized as the primary resource for stakeholders facing domain-specific challenges or inquiries.
This role requires the application of architectural principles to develop innovative solutions across all architectural dimensions—technology, data, processes, integration, and organizational impact—ensuring that solutions are scalable and sustainable.
The Solution Consultant will translate domain-specific strategic priorities into actionable solution roadmaps, engaging relevant business and IT stakeholders.
Additionally, the consultant will identify improvement opportunities for P&S, particularly in the Logistics and Track & Trace domains, by staying informed about new technologies in the digital landscape.
Accountabilities
- Lead the development of solutions and drive change through squads within their domain or contribute to squads in other areas.
- Utilize appropriate change methodologies in squad activities.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of P&S (Logistics and Track & Trace) alongside technical expertise to identify and resolve problems, ensuring alignment with Syngenta's architectural principles.
- Contribute insights regarding the P&S situation in Logistics and Track & Trace to assist in prioritization discussions.
- Provide accurate cost estimates for new solutions or changes, considering both project and operational expenses.
- Act as a liaison for IT matters between business stakeholders and the IT team.
- Collaborate with P&S Tribe members to develop visions and technology roadmaps addressing future P&S challenges.

Essential Qualifications:
- A university degree or advanced qualification in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Sciences, MBA, or a related field.
- Experience as an IT expert collaborating with P&S functional business leaders and teams, particularly in Logistics and Traceability/Product Serialization.
- Proven track record in envisioning, leading, and executing change projects, including the development and ownership of functional/solution designs.
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain functional and IT blueprints, roadmaps, and solution architectures.
- Proficient in simplifying complex issues and establishing connections in design and architecture.
- Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering value outcomes.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
