Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled engineer to drive cost estimations for components and track product cost calculations throughout the product development lifecycle.

This role involves providing accurate cost inputs for new projects, generating technical cost breakdowns and building cost models to identify improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure precise cost data for project launches in line with our major product introduction process.
  • Deliver cost estimation activities for new parts, creating detailed cost analyses and developing cost models to optimize costs.
  • Lead initiatives to achieve target costs and other project cost objectives, applying design-to-cost techniques, supporting procurement negotiations, and sourcing strategies.
  • Guarantee the availability and accuracy of financial and cost deliverables for each project review.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing/Industrial, or Materials Engineering (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing commodities such as metal fabrication, castings, machining, plastics, forging, and cable harnesses (mandatory).
  • Experience with ERP and/or PLM systems managing product structures and Bills of Materials (mandatory).
  • Advanced English communication skills (mandatory).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (mandatory).
