Python Automation Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Python developer with experience in hardware and software integration, who can work on automated testing frameworks or Linux-based embedded systems.

  • Develop and maintain new features to our Python-based test automation tools like Checkbox, used by both internal teams and industry partners.
  • Invent novel ways to enable remote, automated testing.
  • Collaborate to create the software counterpart to in-house designed testing hardware, aiding device enablement (graphics, hotplug, bluetooth, etc).
  • Design functional and performance tests to support hardware enablement and prevent regressions.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Python programming language, a quality-focused approach to software design and implementation, and interest in automation methodologies. Experience working with Ubuntu or other Linux distributions is also required.
