Automated Test Engineer

We seek a skilled Automated Test Engineer to deliver high-quality test pipelines, develop automated tests for software validation, and ensure the integrity of our system.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned QA professional to build, maintain, and execute automated test strategies, develop comprehensive test cases, and guarantee the quality of our system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement automated tests for software validation, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Own and manage the quality aspects of our system, including defect management and reporting.
  • Promote and adopt best practices in software testing, contributing to their continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • At least seven years of experience writing automated tests for web and/or non-web based applications.
  • Expertise in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with fluency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Git/GitHub.
  • Proficiency in Jest, Playwright, and/or Cypress, as well as BDD tools (e.g. Cucumber).
  • Nice to have: High-volume, high-availability, high-stakes enterprise systems; Experience building and/or testing REST and/or WebSocket-based APIs; Experience with trading applications.
