Energy Management System Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Management System (EMS) professional to support our operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, operation, and optimization of EMS platforms supporting power generation and transmission networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, configure, and maintain EMS platforms for real-time monitoring and control of generation units and transmission assets.
  • Support generation control, frequency, and voltage regulation through EMS functionalities.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on EMS software in various generation and transmission environments.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and the EMS development team, ensuring that EMS customizations/applications align with technical specifications.
  • Provide technical support and training to operational and engineering teams.
  • Validate EMS data models.
  • Collaborate with SCADA system teams for seamless integration.
  • Adjust network and generation applications in real-time.
  • Develop and test DTS (Dispatcher Training Simulator) models with customers.
  • Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for optimizing generation dispatch, transmission flows, and system efficiency.
  • Assist project teams with troubleshooting, application data modeling, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, including technical reports and drawings.
  • Provide training to users and operators as needed.
