Wilhelmsen Port Services, a division of the Wilhelmsen holding, has been a leading provider of services and products to the maritime sector for over 162 years. Key Responsibilities:
The Husbandry Agent will oversee the coordination of customer needs concerning the ship's personnel (crew changes, land and sea transportation, hotel accommodations, medical assistance, and more) as well as technical requirements (spare parts delivery, cash to master, supplies, disposals, inspections, etc.) in ports across the Americas. All services will be managed remotely from the WPS Santos office, utilizing contracted local vendors for assistance.

Qualifications:
Experience in the maritime industry, preferably in ship agency operations. Proficiency in English – both written and spoken. Spanish is advantageous. Ability to work independently and methodically. Capable of meeting deadlines through effective time management and prioritization. Computer literate to navigate internal and external systems and applications. A bachelor's degree or current studies in a relevant field is a plus. Practical experience is valued over formal education. A strong willingness to learn is essential – training will be provided to equip the candidate with the necessary knowledge for the role. Self-motivated and results-oriented. Proactive, well-organized, and able to foresee issues to implement preventive measures. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick and sound judgments. Capability to effectively plan and direct operations without compromising safety for personnel and vessels while managing various tasks and deadlines. Attention to detail is crucial. Customer-focused approach. This position requires working from the office.
