The key objective of this role is to assist in the development and implementation of regulatory policies and procedures across the organization.
- Conduct thorough research on new regulations, circulars, and guidelines to ensure compliance;
- Develop and maintain accurate records of policy changes and updates;
- Mentor junior staff members in compliance best practices and procedures;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of regulatory policies with business objectives;
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory requirements;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Banking and Finance, or related field;
- Relevant experience in Compliance or Legal departments within the financial services sector;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; and
- Able to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions.
