Senior Data Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Reliability Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and availability of data in large-scale systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining robust, fault-tolerant data pipelines;
  • Implementing and improving monitoring and alerting systems to detect issues in real time;
  • Building and maintaining backup, recovery, and automation solutions to enhance data reliability;
  • Investigating and resolving data quality issues, such as inconsistencies and duplicates;
  • Collaborating with teams from different departments to ensure efficient use of data;
  • Defining and monitoring data reliability metrics, like SLAs and SLOs, to maintain high standards;
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and deploying data solutions;
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala;
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases;
  • Familiarity with big data platforms and data pipeline orchestration tools;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of data security and reliability;
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and DevOps practices;
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools;
