Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled backend developer to join our engineering team on a freelance basis.

You will work autonomously on key backend integrations, collaborating closely with tech leads on projects involving financial and crypto partners.


Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Java, or other JVM-based languages.
  • Proficiency with Spring Boot and backend system architecture.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to overlap at least 80% of your time with US Mountain Standard Time (MST).
Desirable Skills
  • Startup experience in regulated or correctness-critical industries (e.g., fintech, healthcare, banking, airlines).
  • Familiarity with crypto/financial partner integrations.
