Business Operations Specialist

The Bookstore Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the bookstore, ensuring that all books, stationery, and accessories are readily available to students. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, supporting their needs for purchases, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain accurate inventory records, performing regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to ensure the best value for the bookstore
- Coordinate the processing of invoices, payments, and refunds in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure the bookstore is clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times, meeting high standards of appearance and customer experience
Ideal Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English language, both spoken and written
- Familiarity with MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with students, staff, and suppliers
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
