Business Development Representative Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Representative to identify and qualify new business opportunities by establishing relationships with potential customers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in sales, building strong relationships, and driving business growth.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in identifying sales opportunities for selling IT and anti-fraud products. They will use their communication skills to cultivate long-term relationships with customers from initial contact through to opportunity qualification, when the qualified lead is passed to our sales team for development and close. The successful candidate must be fluent in English and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities\
  • Visit our customer base to present our real-time anti-fraud solution\
  • Represent our company to potential clients\
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients\
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market\
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives and Pre Sales teams\
  • Report to the Sales Director on weekly meetings\
  • Stay up-to-date on trends and innovations in the payments sector, acquiring knowledge in acquiring and card processing\
