Seeking an experienced Electro Technical Officer to join our crew on a special purpose vessel in Brazil.

  • Maintain electric and electronic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Keep the Electrician's engine log book and planned maintenance system updated with all repairs and controls carried out.
  • Prepare handover reports for relieving Electricians and provide copies to the Chief Engineer.
  • Daily supervise electric and electronic machinery equipment.
  • Perform planned maintenance on electronic equipment and update logs and maintenance systems accordingly.
  • Ensure the maintenance system is up-to-date with regards to electrical spare parts.
  • Prepare requisitions for electrical spare parts and have them approved/reviewed by the Chief Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as an Electro Technical Officer.
  • Strong knowledge of maritime electrical systems.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications.
  • Able to work efficiently in a dynamic offshore environment.
