About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team at MoveUp Media. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our WordPress websites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality WordPress websites that meet our clients' needs and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain WordPress plugins and themes to ensure seamless functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with our design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly WordPress themes.
  • Ensure timely project delivery and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • Expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming and experience with APIs.
  • Knowledge of SCSS and BEM methodology.
  • Excellent understanding of the WordPress ecosystem and ability to develop shortcodes, widgets, Gutenberg blocks, WP themes, and WP plugins.
  • Knowledge of system administration and ability to implement frontend best practices for SEO and performance.
  • Openness to exploring new technologies and continuous technological monitoring.
