Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions using Databricks for advanced analytics and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement scalable data infrastructure and workflows using Databricks and other cloud-based technologies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, usability, and security.
  3. Document data architectures, processes, and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices.
  4. Integrate data quality measures into data architectures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  5. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  6. Implement advanced dimensional data modeling to support business intelligence and data analytics initiatives.
  7. Design and implement Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions to support big data and analytics workloads.
  8. Establish and enforce Data Governance practices to ensure data security and compliance.
  9. Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting for data-related issues to ensure business continuity.
  10. Apply FinOps principles to optimize data costs and resource usage.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Solid experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role.
  3. Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
  4. Proven experience working with modern data architecture and engineering stacks in cloud environments (Azure).
  5. Extensive experience with the Databricks platform is essential.
  6. Strong proficiency in SQL and Spark.
  7. Expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes.
  8. Advanced knowledge of dimensional data modeling.
  9. Proven track record of implementing Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.

Nice to Have

  1. Databricks certification is a plus.
  2. Experience working with international clients.
  3. Familiarity with Data Quality practices and tools.
  4. Knowledge of Data Governance solutions, particularly with Azure Purview.
  5. Understanding of FinOps principles applied to data management.
