As a seasoned finance leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our Brazil entity. This dynamic position offers an opportunity to drive business growth and lead key initiatives that align with our company's mission.
About the RoleThis leadership role requires a proven track record of managing complex accounting processes, interacting with multiple stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities will include overseeing accounting, financial, and regulatory reporting, preparing and coordinating financial statements, regulatory reports, business forecasts, and other related information for external use. Additionally, you will support the tax team with Brazil tax reporting and compliance experience and partner with the Global accounting team to prepare and/or review assigned month-end and quarter-end close book close processes.
Key Requirements- 6+ years' experience as a finance professional at a top-tier bank, fintech, or professional service firm serving financial institution clients.
- CPA or equivalent (CRC registration) required.
- Proven ability to manage complex accounting processes and interact with multiple stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Excellent oral and written communication – fluency in English is essential.
- Experience leading Finance in Brazil for global companies.
- Knowledge of digital assets and the crypto economy, or a desire to learn.
