Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects, developing layouts, diagrams, and detailed design packages.

Responsibilities
  • Support BESS project development, creating technical documentation and designs.
  • Evaluate energy storage technologies, assisting in client vendor selection and implementation.
  • Design microgrid and distributed energy resources systems.
  • Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Assist clients with use-case identification and implementation for energy storage systems.
  • Communicate technical concepts through reports to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines, including civil, structural, FLS, high-voltage electrical, SCADA/telecom, water, and geotechnical.
  • Participate in design reviews and develop internal design guidelines.
  • Ensure quality assurance of electrical work.
  • Support construction activities, including bid reviews, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Engage in meetings for business development and project progress.
  • Manage workload to meet schedules.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (Electrical emphasis).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in BESS, renewables, or power systems design.
  • Knowledge of BESS technologies and integration into power facilities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, Easy Power, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and multi-project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
