About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers and contribute to the development of our search platform. As a manager, you will be responsible for setting priorities, aligning strategy, and making decisions across teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Establish and communicate team objectives that support the organization's overall goals.
- Develop the technical roadmap within the scope of your team.
- Design and oversee systems architecture within the broader area.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback on best practices.
Necessary Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in people management.
Desirable Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations.
