Data Engineering Challenges
  • Design, implement, and maintain complex data pipelines and workflows for batch and streaming use cases.
  • Create advanced SQL queries and optimize database performance for large-scale datasets.
  • Work with orchestration tools like Airflow, DBT, Pub/Sub, or similar to ensure reliable data movement.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data solutions using Python, Go, Java, or other programming languages.
  • Achieve optimal Postgres, BigQuery, and other DBMS solution performance by managing them effectively.
  • Build integrations with APIs and streaming data platforms.
  • Design and optimize data warehouse models to support reporting and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, ensure data integrity, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Deploy, monitor, and scale data solutions on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
Key Requirements
  • Expert-level SQL knowledge, including performance tuning and optimization.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or similar languages.
  • Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT, FiveTran, Pub/Sub, or equivalent).
  • Deep understanding of database management systems (Postgres, BigQuery preferred).
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing design principles and models.
  • Proven experience in API and streaming data integration.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with event data collection tools (Firebase, GA4, etc.).
