Tax Manager Job Description

About Our Tax Team

We take charge of tax compliance and optimize the company's tax position, handling planning, reporting, and risk management in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage direct and indirect taxes, ensuring compliance with current legislation and optimizing the tax burden.
  • Prepare and file timely and accurate tax returns, including PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, IRPJ/CSLL, etc.
  • Monitor tax compliance processes and work closely with internal teams to ensure tax obligations are met.
  • Manage and respond to federal, state, and municipal tax audits, coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities.
  • Analyze changes in Brazilian tax legislation and provide recommendations for compliance.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law. Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred.
  • Solid experience in direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance and tax planning.
  • Knowledge of Transfer Pricing and attendance to external audits.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in Portuguese (native proficiency).
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken) – must liaise with global teams.
