- Define user roles and permissions to ensure appropriate data distribution in the required format and within specified timeframes.
- Implement high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime.
- Optimize database performance, apply patches and updates as required, and conduct regular tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
- Provide proactive and reactive data management support to end users, including training and troubleshooting.
- Develop and enforce database policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Database Administrator.
- Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications.
- Proficiency in data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL.
- Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
- Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and efficient.
- Proficient in written and spoken English (including security terminology) combined with good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Oracle Database systems or equivalent RDMS is a plus.
