Job Objective

Coordinate and prepare equipment projects for both onshore and offshore applications, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and adherence to current regulations while optimizing quality, cost, and timelines. Maintain organized records of engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design offshore and subsea structures and equipment.
  • Analyze and interpret customer specifications critically.
  • Develop and implement production planning, identifying areas for optimization.
  • Prepare equipment projects, ensuring compliance with customer needs, applicable standards, and design regulations.
  • Encourage continuous project improvement.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and products that enhance design value.
  • Apply cost management principles to design, material specifications, and manufacturing processes.
  • Identify sustainability and energy efficiency requirements to enhance equipment performance.
  • Ensure the quality and accessibility of engineering documentation.
  • Utilize departmental resources sustainably and within budget constraints.
  • Share knowledge of design and calculation tools, best practices, and relevant standards.
  • Foster a positive team environment.
  • Develop design guidelines, instructions, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Registered with CREA.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Experience in equipment project management.
  • Familiarity with subsea structures and equipment projects, along with manufacturing processes.
  • Experience as a FEA User - Ansys.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Inventor is desirable.
