Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a DevOps Engineer. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients' existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

  • Collaborate with clients' teams and work alongside designers and engineers.
  • Work collaboratively with existing team members on a daily basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in a related field.
  • A four-year college degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Next.js, Node.js, or JavaScript frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and concepts, preferably GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Docker and containerization principles.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code in an object-oriented programming language.
  • Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows.
  • Interest in using AI to enhance developer tooling and automation.
  • Knowledge of SQL for data manipulation or database operations.
  • Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
  • Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
  • A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams.
  • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
  • Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
  • Ability to identify with the goals of our clients.
  • Ability to consistently work 40 hours per week.
